EMOTIVE ≠ EMOTIONが2021年5月31日（月）シガ・チアとハナノ・コトが活動辞退の受諾と、現体制終了を公式Twitterアカウントで発表した。

公式Twitterアカウントの発表によると、「シガ・チアとハナノ・コトから活動辞退の申し出があり、幾度かの話し合いをした結果受諾した」としている。

両名の活動辞退の理由については触れられていない。

活動終了に伴い、2021年6月11日（金）に日本橋Fairy Tales Osakaで現体制ラストライブを行う。

尚、ニイナ・カノンの活動については追ってアナウンスを行うとしている。
